On our way through the desert of Morocco we could see many Auberges. At the “Porte de Sahara” we have rested. Remote from busy roads only accessible for 4 x 4 vehicles.
Created in the traditional clay building style in 2010, it offers accommodation with 12 rooms and a lot of hospitality. Electricity is generated with photovoltaic systems, the water pumped out of wells, water is heated with wood stoves.
Hamid welcomed us with friendly hospitality.
After enjoying a good dinner we could look into the clear starry sky.
We felt very comfortable here and like to share a Green Diamond.
